SO TODAY WAS A SUPPPPERRR FUFILING DAY
though i did not do much of my PROJECTS.

okkay went for driving in de late morning and for ONCE i was 30mins early...
something wrong with my estimation...wasted 30 mins!!!
kindof happy cause i've only got 2 more lessons to compplete!!! hope i PASS though. HUR

took a bus to suyin's house aafter driving ard 2pm for mahjongg...
but ended up walking out to buy NASILEMAK and PUKKA icecream!!!
a GOODGOOD alternative of COLD ROCK....with their authentic ribena icecream!!
played a few rounds of mahjong and went back to STUDIO

cut abit of foam here and there and we set off in clementi's van to LIANGCOURT...
raining cats and dogs jam here and there...blahblahblah tingtingting goes de speedometer
picked eleen up picked angelatte up...
finally reached LIANGCOURT.
had uber yummie curry katsu udon at de jap market...DAMMMMN good!! worth de 10bucks!! chewy and all...
off we went to GOTHAM the penthouse for sdebash.

only thing good was the free drink which came with de ticket!!
sooo...had vodlka coke surprisely didnt get drunk

who ever knew that theres so much to helvetica.

went swimming with cerise chen last thursday...so cuteeee!!! hahahaha so much to say, too little space, too much glare in the eyes.
ran 8rounds round the track yesterday and played two netball games.so proud of myself :D haha but its not much though...compared to 42km...hahahha!! i'm aching all over but i'm glad i moved my legs...hur...saw a frog leaping hurdles during out running session...haha some track guy with supersuper long legs and he jumped like 6 hurdles a few cm apart in one go...haha...and we saw a chocolate running...OH ZOE! after you left sinyan and i saw dark chocolate tooo!! HAHA

today we watched a one and a half hr long video on FONT. the HELVETICA font. eventhough it seemed like it was a video on FONT and how certain designers felt about FONT, i saw something deeper. (wow, i know). haha. it seems like certain things/people/places/objects have been so prevalent in our daily life that we DO take them for granted. so much so that we may say that we treasure something/someone but infact, we do not fully appreciate what is before us. dont think it happens to me though but i know it does to humans. hurhur. anyways, time changes everything. it stops for no one but it changes everyone. how powerful it is when it does not even exist physically... hmmm...

how i wish time would just stand still. like STOP. stop running so fast!!

hmm so 2009 has arrived.

how quickly it came and how swiftly oheight went by...now i have to refer my J1 days as last last last year. omg....

time flies and so do feelings. hur. maybe its the start of school. maybe its cause i'm finally feeling the pressure of getting a excellent cap score. maybe it is cause of the horrendous amount of projects i know i have to complete in order to get my well deserved 3 month holiday.

or maybe it is just as simple as a change of heart.

i feel different now when i look you in the eye...i feel different when i wave goodbye.

i dont know. maybe its time to grow up.

quit being so dependent, quit thinking silly thoughts.

i dont know how long more i can hold on

everytime i want to let go, something happens and i get pulled in again.

its a vicious cycle. a bittersweet kind of thing.(no idea what its called)

think its time, to do my own locomotion. to get away and be alone.

yepp alvin is finally back!!! yayeeeesss!!!
friday was a happy day so i decided to skip morning lesson(ID materials)!!! hurhur....
yepp so went to school to prepare for de architecture presentation and we had a totally INFORMAL, CRAZY, FULL OF ERRRMS presentation. it was fun i guess...yahh...
then went home to bathe and went off to the airport((:
i had to wait a FREAKING 30 mins for de stupid 156 to come!! was so tempted to call SBS...hurhur..."get that 156 ass here right now!!" HAH.
yepp so met sinyan at clementi and off we went!!!

he kept complaining about popeys but his complains are justifiable.

and we waited for super long for the super SLOW mushroom to come out...and his papa kept talking to chinhow (maybe cause hes de only one who understands him...) haha then we all went to macs with his papa and amanda for drinks(his papa insisted). and alvin's papa brought us(sinyan chinhow and i) to my house!! so nice...and in the car de guys kept talking as if they've known each other since forever...haha...we're all friendly people...

today my id1111 tutor told the class "if you are doing or designing something to get a mark/grade, it would be much easier and better for you to study very hard and retake your Alevels and get into medicine. it would be a much better course for you. designing is not as easy as other courses for the very fact that each project you do is not definate. there is no definate text or equation to apply. there is no definate way of grading. your job perspective is definately indefinate. so, if you are a person who puts great emphasis on results, it would be much easier for you in medicine or law not here."

so, those who feel that you are suffocating because of your equations or graphs or numbers, find comfort in the fact that at the end of every question there will always be an answer. unlike sanding foam or making a perfect cube cause there is no such thing as perfection in this world.

papa had his monash masters degree graduation at de RITZ carlton...had yummie food((: and i realised dat marc lim from ntss is actually my sister's friend's brother.what a small world again.

SUNDAY!!!!

had disney cafe at anchorpoint with the dude!!!!food was okay...kids food in adult size...normal yet it came with a nostalgic feeling...like the days when my parents used to bring us to disneyland....sighhh

ermmm...20thsep: the usuals came to my house for chili and black peper crabs!!! hope they enjoyed it...hurhur...susu was very glad to cook for them anyways...but no pics)):

friday: kester met us (shiya zoe and i) at nus to have dinner and then we crashed shiya and zoe's lecture which was super booorrriinnggg...haha but the lecturer is funny...then we decided to go see fireworks!!! pew pew pew!!! but the 97 took so long to come that everyone went crazy and the people at the busstop thought we were MAD.
i love fireworks. they're so pretty. they make you feel so small and ugly. they make you feel like there are better things in life than to worry bout uni and stupid things.

saturday: it rained and so alvin and i couldnt have our picnic)): but i insisted on going to botanicals thinking that the rain will stop but...
too bad alvin had to walk in the rain(with an umbrella of course) with me...as usual we walked the whole botanical gardens...hurhur...we're walking people... and then we went to coronation for GOLDEN ROOSTER DINNER!!!

hmmm...life is moving too fast for me...
i reallie reallie just want to live by the beach, slack and do nothing...or maybe teach some uneducated people who live by the beach too...hurhur.
i do enjoy my uni life though. but sometimes i just feel like i'm not living a meaningful life.
after watching the olympics i suddenly have the urge to DO SOMETHING.
haha...
anyways this weekend is HOMEWORK weekend.
me with my assignments and the dude with his smellie army reports/research/blahblah
yepp...i've proven what i want to prove and the answer is obvious eventhough he might think otherwise.

look at my prawn mee!!! the bowl was reallie big and so were the PRAWNS!! and there were THREE OF THEM!!!
the thing is i dont reallie like to eat prawns whatmore these still had their shells on!!
BUT this 8.90 meal is most prob 8.90 cause of the giant prawns!!!
so...poor alvin had to peel them for me...hurhur!!

anyways. i think i need to get away alone. to think what to do with my life.

went to the singapore national museum to camwhore with kester zoe shiya terence((:

nice place to camwhore!!! hurhur...and its my second time to a singapore museum...(my first was during a pri sch learning journey) omggg...i'm like so unpatriotic...yepp...

we wanted to watch ndp fireworks but realised that we wont be able to go home if we do so...

bugis for dinner and de smellie mushroom joined us...and then pool after((: and omggg the taxi ride to bukit timah plaza was like so bumpy dat everyone was dizzy after getting out of de cab...

had fun though with my beloved friends((:

went to alvin's house todayyyy to visit garry the dog!!!

hes got a new haircut which makes his head look super tiny...hurhur...poor garry...

yepp met alvin at BPP for lunch den went to his house...slacked ard and helped out to beautify THE DONGS' PHOTOALBUM (my pressie)!! hurhur...and then we WALKED to bangkit to get his hair cut...

and then i had a MUSHROOM HERITAGE TOUR...

from bangkit to his kumon tuition centre to his primary school to his old house's carpark to his old house void deck to zhenghua community centre and finally back to his house...haha...

den we continued to slack until dinner time...TIME TO GROW FAT!!! the food at his house never ending de...oh! and apparently mushrooms dont know how to tie knots so i helped him sew a button onto his uniform!! hopefully it doesnt drop off!!

yepp then his dad brought me home((: actually garry did something very funny but i'm too lazy to blog bout it...hurhur...

yepp i've been with the smellie mushroom for a year already...
last night i was thinking if one year is enough for me...one year of roller coaster emotions.
its kindof scary that i'm starting uni...everything seems so different...
i've realised that i've been in my bubble for too long. even my og pple noticed. hurhur
i guess i'll be busier than ever in due time.
maybe we'll be too busy to call/sms/go out...it might even come to a point we just lose the connection we once had )):
i apologise for the depressing thoughts. having dinner alone at home during my one year anniversary is not exactly something i look forward to.

went to NUS yesterday to help out with the istana project...nothing much to do though...just stapling the pin mills together with a GIANT stapler!!
yepp...stayed until 5 plus den the mushroom called to say that he had nights out...told me tomeet him at queensway cause he wanted to visit his grandpa who is at alexandra hospital under observation...so i took a bus to holland v... and then took 105 thinking it goes to queensway...
BUT
it doesnt. and i got lost :/
quickly got off the bus before it went all the way into town...and i had to walk a LLOOONNNNGGG way before finding my 77 bus stop cause smellie mushroom told me to go home)):
and then 77 took so long to come...i wanted to kill somebody...siggghhh...
and stubborn mushroom insisted on coming to my house though he doesnt have any time...so he ran up the hill just to deliver my kaya waffle which i didnt want to eat at first cause i was angry(with no one?) but got tempted in the end...

anyways...i keep having nightmares these few days...
first i dreamt that alvin had to go overseas to study for 10 months leaving me behind
then i dreamt that my family was going on a holiday without me and i had to stay in some yucky hotel alone for three days)):

i just read my morning devotions and in it the writer said that when all goes well, no one actually remembers that it is God protecting us...and when there is tradegy, everyone asks" where is God?"
i'm glad, that whatever i have gone through in my life be it failures/meeting horrible people/not getting what i want/disappointments/breakups/whatever nonsense, i've NEVER questioned "where is God?". i always knew that his plan will unfold and there would be something greater for me((:

i find the need to share what i have gone through these past few months. apparently, on the first round of uni admissons, i got rejected by NUS NTU and melbourne u.
i'm glad that i have friends who really comforted me...yet, i held my stand that i did not go through the smellie A levels just to end up no where...

my papa was apparently more "kan chiong" than me...signed up for all de private unis which their admission fees amounted up to 200plus dollars...yet, i was not keened...i only knew that i wanted to go to NUS and i had to pray about it.

amazing enough, industrial design invited me back and gave me a place in NUS. i got into a course which rejected me and cannot be appealed for. I dont think it is a coincidence. do you?

nippon japan. the land of the rising sun.
japan truly amuses me. the people, their prominant culture, their advanced technology and of course the endless shopping streets.
the japanese have very mobid fascinations.
they put great emphasis on their toilets,trains,food,vending machines and of course their self-obsession.
all these may make them out to be a country with high-end technology which may eventually lead to a lost of culture and tradition.
yet they prove us wrong. the japanese are able to come up with toilet bowls with various functions and yet stick to their traditions.
we may be unaware that they still sleep on their ancient tahtami mats and still prefer sushi to any other kind of food.
at the same time, their trains have plane-like seats which are able to rotate 360 degrees and toilets which are more pleasent than that of our SIA planes.
almost all japanese have salon-hair and make up on their face.even students in uniform. even the males look more feminine.the only thing which differentiates the two genders is the fake eyelashes.
despite the self-obssesion, the japanese are very courteous people.
they would stop, bow and sincerely say sorry if they accidentally nudge you unlike singaporeans who quickly say a soft sorry while continue walking.
yepp...theres more actually but i'm getting quite lazy....haha...
ohya! and 90percent of them don't speak english.yet they have a booming economy. wonder why.

our lives as students would eventually end on 20th nov 2007.
what will i be able to say of it?
i will, in fact, long for it. very very much.
despite all the assignments, disappointing grades and flustered cramming.
i have, found much more in the countless days i've walked through the gates of pioneer junior college.
first, the people who WILL make it possible;teachers. care and concern of our teachers cannot be measured merely by grades or statistics.
they are truly rare gems yet to be fully appreciated and valued by our pragmatic govt.
no doubt, we love them to the core.
the days which we sit on the blue chairs and tables; often taken for granted.
it would never be the same when we revisit.
no longer pioneers but pioneer's alumni.
06s22 followed me through the relentless rounds round the track, the hours of boring lectures,
the never-ending one and a half long periods.
somehow, their unfaltering determination kept me going as well.
our happy times of skipping lessons to play silly games and poker cards WILL not be forgotten.
our occasional or rather very frequent screech and screams would linger and will be dreamed of every night.
the indecisiveness of the kopitiam uncles and lot1 aunties causing us to block all forms of walkways would be a rare sight in the future. (hooray for all the shop owners)
will we still be able to meet up in our clique of 10 (sometimes 11 when himbo bro joins) in the future?
its really getting to me.

i was shocked by how little knowledge i had of my own chinese culture.
when mr.koh asked about our dialect groups, i was dumbfounded.

anyways learning journey was really an eye openning experience which i will never forget.
went to vivo to shop after that followed by pool at bukit timah plaza...
thanks to my zero capacity of pool ability, zoe and i ended up buying happy kappy icecream as our agenda instead. nonetheless, it was a hot but happy day((:

didn't eat island creamery in de end cause someone had to draw money so we went all de way to coronation. strangely all de cafes there close reallie early. so we were lost wandering hungry souls walking about bukit timah road. ended up settling in mad jacks at 9 plus. no idea how we could walk for so long.

the giant MENTOS: it was so huge they had to store it outside their house.

truthfully, i ever wanted july to hurry come. despite the fact that midyears would be drawn nearer and the dreadful results would be made known to me.
but now i dread JULY.
i don't know. i never expected it to be so soon.
its too messy.
i do not know what to do.

i lazed around the whole day and realised its quite tiring lazing around.too BORING.

bestfriend- you've been gone for so long, that i doubt you'll be back.

no more going home together, no more eating like theres no tomorrow, no more fighting like we were in a civil war, no more wasting our time together, no more complaining like the fish market auntie, no more you.

The pieces of my heart are missing you.

ITS A SUN SHINEY DAYY!!!!
YAYES! exams are over!!!at least for now. yet, i dread the oh-so-dreadful results.yehh...anyways.
on tuesday we planned to go to HAJI LANE after de exams to explore...but in de end...

OUR MARVELOUS "learning journey" ITENARY:
first stop: bugis mrt
pastamania for lunchie
-saw this trendyzone building and went in, got lost in "hongkong"
-went out, found this nice building with mounments which i think was a office building cause everyone were starring at us for being so amused by the sculptures.
-found HAJI LANE at last.
took artsyfatsy photos and raided pretty shoppes
-walked to arab street and badghad street[dunno how to spell]
-took a random bus to clark quay
-got lost at clark quay
-took a short break while shiya hosted her auntie yaya show with special guests ian and kester
-finally found the singapore river
-took photos under the scorching sun [sorry jane no cocktails]
-walked to the esplanade
-ate hagen daz[can't be bothered to spell their name properly considering the service they had]
-took bus to orchad went shopping
-had zombiefied yoshi for dinner.
-home sweet home ((:
it was a super tiring day with the worst weather to be tourists yet, it was the most enjoyable outing ever. better than orchard(: better than the cinemas(:
unforgettable memories with friends imprinted on photographs is the most priceless treasure.

phtots shall be uploaded to someplace sometime soon. for now, i just want to enjoy lazing around.

BOOHOO)): papa has gone to hongkong with mummy for their fourth?no fifth! honeymoon...
poor papa had to take jetstar asia while mummy took SIA cause shes sponsered by her company. then when papa msged me"i taking skytrain now"
i started to cry. i miss my papa already. hes like the most amazing gift God has given me.

do insane things to make me go crazy
pat my head
wake me up in the morning
go for breakfast with this sat morning
drive me to school
pick me up when the sky turns dark
sympathize with how much crazy studying i have to go through
ask me if i have money
the list is too long i can't go on.
i don't know what would happen when my papa is gone.
most probably lost, stranded, helpless.

AND my house is flooded with ANTS!!!each time i see them crawling i get itchy and feel like squishing them BUT i start to wonder if they have families too and so i end up blowing them instead :/

GOODBYE.

weird things takes us by surprise.
for example, just yesterday, a very random bus ride made me realise something very important:that it was not meant to be.
have you ever got the feeling that you thought you've got alot to tell someone but when you finally see that person you just don't feel like talking anymore? i've been getting that lately.
sometimes i wonder why all these things are happening to me.

the brain draining-two-papers inaday aftermath dinner courtersy of kester ng which drained our wallets.

anyways, i had fun shopping yesterday though it was rather short.shopping helps(:

but i guess just roaming about town spotting branded bags on people was fun too(:

i was suppose to refrain from blogging until after exams but got tempted :X

topshop shopping spree wasn't that great considering that the female shopkeepers were absolutely RUDE.and their range this season is like...ahem.
like hello?! i'm the customer! i'm not the one with an inch thick of make up and has to work.
at least i can afford shopping there.

been studying like an...introvert?[ah whatever] these days...but ssssooooo mannnnyyy DISTRACTIONS!!!

distraction no.1: cute granny jellies!!!

distraction no.2: MANICURE!!!![my aneroxic hand sia]

AND SO...studying has been a DISASTER!!!both mentally and to my environment((:

ANYWAYS...watched fantastic four after we got de ans to de chem mock exam...couldn't stand tong mui noi?[think thats her name la] don't get whats with her and her problem with shorts.

i think my laptop is going to die soon...its SUPER laggy...can't stand it! don't like slow thingys...

though i SHOULD learn to be patient.

ANYWAYS...after watching fantastic four i made a sterotype conclusion on guys.

NERDY DUDES: reallie don't know how to be romantics and are usually oblivious to what their partner wants to hear from them not in a bad way though...

SPORTY DUDES: they know what they want but relationships are really not their top priority[to a certain extend i guess]

MUSICAL DUDES: are SUPERLY emotional....they seriously think too much. feel too much but really know how to touch a girl's heart...yeh....

i am almost certain studying has made me nonsensical...

went to eat Lao Beijing today for lunch...
de xiao long bao was super fresh but too fresh for me i guess...don't like de meat taste...
and had zhar-something mian...[can't remember] was okay too i guess...
but de corleander[or something...some veggie la..] balls were yummie ((:
yayeee...mummy got me a 100dollar shopping spree at topshop!!![don't think its enough but...]
THANKEW MUMMY!!!! now i have one more reason to study harder...
